In early April, there was a small gathering including family and wedding party participants, in an effort to get the partying started and to allow people to meet and/or get to know one another a bit better.  Jon and Jackie were kind enough to host the festivities, as they also wanted to see that the celebrations finally got going.  Thanks to all, especially Jon and Jackie for all of your constant love and support!!

At this fun event at the end of April, Jon and Jackie (with some help from Cheryl) hosted 'another' party, geared to incorporate our friends into some of the initial celebrations.  This also gave people a chance to meet and/or get to know one another better prior to seeing one another in Santa Barbara.  The food was delicious and the toasts were memorable.  Thank you to everyone, with a special thanks to Jon, Jackie and Cheryl again! 

Don't blink during this section or you will miss the one and only photo of the entire bachelor weekend.  Obviously it is true ..... What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!!  Fun - and hangovers were had by all.  The one and only photo of the festivities, is a very brief glimpse of the fun had by all (well, actually, only a majority as all did not make it into the photo)!  Thanks Terry for coordinating a majority of the details (with the exception of the hotel)!

From the limo drive and champagne toast at the GGB, the "How well does Kent know Michelle test" on the way to Boulevards, followed by Cinco de Mayo tequila shots and fun at the Ottimista Cafe and finally closing the evening at the Balboa Cafe, this was a fun evening!  (With the exception of the hangover, it was a great time!!)  Thanks ladies, with special thanks to Michele! 

An ideal May afternoon in Muriel's beautiful backyard.  It was the perfect backdrop for the delicious luncheon, great stories - especially Cindy's fun story including her impressive insight about how perfect Kent and I would be together, years prior to us even starting to date - and oh, so many beautiful and generous gifts.  Thank you to all with a special thank you to Muriel for the delightful party! 

So much to say about how "perfect" this Bachelorette party (better yet, weekend!) was!!  For those of you that were there, you know what I am talking about.  The amazing setting, the ideal weather, the delicious food and of course the great friends and memorable girl time!  Cheryl, you outdid yourself AGAIN.  Thank you to all that joined in the fun, with a special thanks to Cheryl for your constant love and encouragment!!

Whether you were able to get to Santa Barbara as early as Thursday to join us in downtown in the private dinner loft we had at the Restaurant NU and/or if you had a chance to mingle at the Harbor View pool, etc.  We hope you had a wonderful time!  Even though it was at least two days of fun and celebrations for most, we found that it still went far to quickly.  Thank you all for joining in our wedding weekend of fun, fun, fun!!

For those of you that joined in the rehearsal, we hope your first impression of BACARA was as awe-inspiring as ours the first time we saw it.  (Robin, as you can tell from one of the photos, you were brutally missed.)  Although the rehearsal was fun, we were excited to get to the rehearsal dinner at .....

..... Mondial and to get the party started!!  To all that joined the rehearsal dinner we thank you for being very special people in our lives.  (Aunt Aggie and Uncle Ron, you were missed at this event.)  Although we found this ideal and amazing location, Kent's parents are the ones who deserve all of the "thanks", as they were kind enough to host this event!  And ....

.... we were very excited to combine our rehearsal dinner festivities, at the same location that we were able to have many of you meet us for some night before celebrations!  Mondial/Quantum proved to be a great place for fun and allowed us to beat the crowds of other bars and restaurants.  If you had dinner at the Quantum, we hope you enjoyed the amazing food, service and atmosphere and thanks joining in for awhile to help us celebrate! 

The day we 'officially' commit our love, lives and hearts to one another and we are especially happy to have all of you to help us celebrate!  A special thank you to all who helped us get here, by sharing your love, warmth, patience, encouragement, etc.,  all lending to our wedding day!  Dad and Dar, we thank you for the contribution to help pay for this celebration.

In case you did not get to see all of the beautiful elements and architecture of BACARA, we have included some wonderul photos for you to check it out.  We were fortunate enough to spend our second and third night of marriage at this spectacular resort, so we could reminisce about our unforgettable wedding day!!  It was the ideal location for us to start what we know will be an amazing life together!

What a wonderful surprise to go to Fiji!!!  Kent planned our entire adventure.  Go Kent go!!  The one thing Michelle requested was the ability to sit on the beach while sipping a cocktail (which we ironically never had an opportunity to do).  It did not matter where in the world the beach was, so with that Kent went for it.  He did all of the research and kept it a complete surprise, until we were off to the airport!
